International sales outfit Bankside Films have boarded Rudolph Herzog’s How To Sell A War, which will start shooting March 16 in Georgia and also shoot in Dublin. The story follows a PR consultant, and her naïve new intern, working for a global charity concert, trying to keep the event on track despite interference from a Russian warmonger.

Film and Music Entertainment (IRE), Bankside Films and Quickfire announce start of shoot date on Rudolph Herzog’s How To Sell a War. The feature, financed by Quickfire, Creative England, GNFC and IPR.VC is slated to start filming in Dublin/Georgia in March. World sales handled by Bankside.

The Constitution by director Rajko Grlic took an unprecedented three main prizes at the 2017 London Raindance Film Festival, which concluded on 1 October 2017. The film won prizes for best film, best screenplay and best performance (Nebojsa Glogovac) making it the first film in the 25-year history of the Raindance Film Festival to take home three major awards.

Dede wins Grand Prix at Avvantura Film Festival

Dede has won the main Award, Grand Prix, as the Best European Coproduction at the 8th edition of Avvantura Film Festival that was held on the Island of Vis, jury composed of: Christian Jeune (chief film selector of the Cannes Film Festival), Nicholas Martin (screenwriter), Ozana Ramljak (VERN) and Nevio Marasović (director).

Three FAME co-productions selected for the European Film Awards

The European Film Academy has announced today its selection of 51 features films for the upcoming European Film Awards. Three of which have been co-produced by Film and Music Entertainment. Volker Schlöndorff’s ‘Return to Montauk’, starring Nina Hoss and Stellan Skarsgard, which premiered at the Berlinale as part of the Official Selection; Finnish biopic ‘Tom of Finland’, directed by Dome Karukoski, which opened the Goteborg Film Festival; and Rajko Grlić’s ‘The Constituion’ which won Le Grand Prix des Ameriques at the 41st Montreal Film Festival.

‘Elvis Walks Home’ to compete in World Competition at the 41st Montreal World Film Festival

Fatmir Koci’s ‘Elvis Walks Home’ has been selected as part of the World Competition along 17 other films at the 41st Montreal World Film Festival, which will take place from August 24th to September 4th 2017. Recently completed, the film is an Albanian/Irish co-production between Kkoci Productions and Film and Music Entertainment (IRE). FAME was already part of the winning team that won the Grand Prix des Amériques for Best Film and the $100,000 prize at Montreal Film Festival last year for ‘The Constitution’.
‘Elvis Walks Home’ tells the story of Mickey, an Elvis Presley impersonator forced to flee Albania during the Balkan wars.
